Local Tourist Attractions Daisy Bank is an excellent base for walkers. Recognised walks include Offa's Dyke, The Shropshire Way and The Jack Mytton Way. There is also good walking on the The Long Myndd and Stiperstones. Roundton Hill Nature reserve, which overlooks the site, is popular with wildlife enthusiasts. Bishops Castle, famous for its real ale breweries, is just three miles away and there are plenty of excellent places to eat. There are castles at Montgomery and Ludlow. Stokesay and Powys Castles are also nearby. The Welshpool and Lianfair Railway, Mitchells Fold Prehistoric Circle; and slightly further afield: Ironbridge, Telford, Wroxeter Roman City and Shrewsbury (home of Brother Cadfael). In addition, the Sunday market, held each week at "Tuffins" in Churchstoke is a must for the bargain hunter!. |

Description Daisy Bank is situated in the "Marches" on the Welsh/Shropshire border in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The park is beautifully landscaped with trees and shrub borders and has glorious views of the Welsh and Shropshire hills. Our pitches are mostly hardstanding, with a few grass pitches for those hot sunny summers. |

All pitches are fully serviced. Why pay for hidden extras? All our inclusive fees cover caravan, two adults, awning, car, hot showers and hot water to wash basins, electric hook-up, water and drainage. Our excellent putting green is free to all our customers, including the use of putters and balls. We have a superb dog walk. Our newly refurbished toilet block incorporates full disabled facilities. Daisy Bank is open all year round. |
