Description Moor View is in a super location surrounded by stunning countryside with beautiful views. Within a short distance you have a choice of beaches, towns and villages, country paths and the spectacular South West Coastal Path and, of course, there is Dartmoor (365 square miles of National Park). Whilst we want to remain a small and quiet rural park, our aim is to provide our guests with excellent facilities normally found on quality larger parks. The Tourist Board has graded us 4 Star (Excellent) in 2005. We are open all year and provide choice of three different size pitches. All of these are double hardstanding all weather pitches (suitable for awnings) with electric, water and grey waste hook-up. |

We are blessed with such a delightful place to live, with amazing diversity. Inland you will find rolling countryside, beautiful valleys, tiny hamlets and picture postcard villages – superb for walking and cycling with endless trails and circular routes available for you to enjoy. Just a few miles from Moor View and you're on dramatic Dartmoor, steeped in history, and whether by foot, bike or horseback, you’ll see the evidence of its history. You’ll also see life as it is today, sheep, cattle and the Dartmoor ponies all roaming freely. |

Facilities The facilities at Moor View are of an excellent standard. The park building has full central heating, with large clean luxury showers (with free hot water). Moor View has a small shop selling bread, newspapers and milk all to order. We keep a few basic grocery provisions, with a small range of caravanning 'bits' including Calor Gas. Just minutes away is an excellent Spar / Garage open 6.00am - 10.00pm keeping a full and comprehensive stock of groceries. In the same hamlet is the California Country Inn, serving first-rate bar food, or if you prefer they also have an excellent separate restaurant. Fishing, Horse Riding, Golf, Surfing, Sailing, Swimming Pool & Leisure Centre, Cinemas and Theatres are all convenient for visiting while staying at Moor View. |
