Longnor Wood Holiday Park’s annual Easter egg throwing competition raised £81 for local charity 1st Responders with all guests enthusiastically joining the fun on Easter morning. Ospreys return to Rutland – April 2012 »
Sue and Ian at Greendale Farm Caravan and Camping Park tell us the Osprey’s have returned to nest at Rutland Water after their 3,000 mile sub-Saharan Winter migration. Rutland Water is one of the very few locations to see these magnificent fish eagles in England, and probably the best, as the hides at Manton Bay provide direct visibility of the nest site.
