Description

The Old Oaks is an award winning, family run park offering excellent amenities in an outstanding environment.

Large, level, landscaped pitches, backing onto mature hedges and divided by native trees and shrubs, help to create a sense of space and privacy in which to relax and unwind

Set amidst blissfully tranquil Somerset countryside, with panoramic view of the Mendip hills and surrounding area, the old oaks is the perfect place to get away from it all.

The park is surrounded by an extensive network of footpaths, the most popular being to the famous Glastonbury Tor (3/4 mile) and into Glastonbury itself (1 ½ miles). Numerous cycle routes, quiet country lanes and the natural beauty of the Somerset levels also make us an ideal base for cycling. Bicycles are available to hire from reception.

Developed over the years in sympathy with the environment, the park is teeming with wildlife. From herons and badgers to the abundance of birds and butterflies, there is always something to interest lovers of the great outdoors.
